The sale of Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid surprised a lot of people. Tottenham agreed to let the right-back go, believing they have replacements. However, they did not replace his gap in the transfer window and now fans regret it.

What seemed like a good idea at the time (as Tottenham gained 23 million), could actually end up being ruinous. He had been part of the starting XI and an England star, but also a player with a slight tendency to injure himself.
Pochettino approved the sale, believing he had plenty of people so that he would not miss Trippier. And, for now, no one has managed to fill the gap and make fans forget about Trippier. Especially when in his first official match with Atletico he already got an assist.
