Spurs U18s to play in stadium's first match after opening, with chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino present.

Tottenham Hotspur U18s will play in the first match to be held at the club's new stadium, with Southampton U18s the lucky visitors. Both Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy are set to be in attendance at the stadium's flagship event. The Tottenham manager's son is even in the Spurs squad for the game, and could start.

The stadium has come under intense criticism in recent months due to a series of embarassing delays due to safety concerns. Tottenham were due to move in at the start of this season, but have been forced to remain in their temporary Wembley home, which they have occupied since moving from White Hart Lane in the summer of 2017.

The curtain-raiser for the first team is set to be against Crystal Palace on April 3, and Pochettino wants his squad to train at the new stadium before the game.
