The Norwegian manager will place the Frenchman much closer to the strikers so that the Portuguese can fit in the XI. Will he manage to recover his best version?

Despite having had very good phases of play, the Frenchman Paul Pogba hasn't managed to perform at Manchester United like he did at Juventus.

Multiple changes of manager, the team's poor performance, or his constant position changes could be blamed for his drop in performance, while he has also had injuries.

The arrival of Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford and the great performance he has shown puts Solskjaer in a compromising position, who will sacrifice his principles and modify the formation to play with the two.

According to 'The Sun', the Norwegian will move Pogba further forward in the midfield three and will give him full freedom to play as a number 10, much closer to the strikers.

It so happens that many of the Frenchman's defenders had claimed that his poor performance was due to his backward position, so now Pogba will have a magnificent opportunity to shut his critics up.

Solskjaer considered trying both of them in the friendly against Stoke City, but the match had to be cancelled after Michael O'Neil, the team's manager, tested positive for the coronavirus.
