New Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has already met with Cristiano Ronaldo whilst the Portuguese was enjoying his holidays to discuss his role in the team next season. Sarri wants 'CR7' to be the team's 'killer'.

According to 'Gazzette dello Sport', the new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has flown to meet Cristiano Ronaldo whilst the forward is on holiday.

The Italian reportedly flew to Greece, where the ex-Real Madrid player is enjoying some time away with his family, to talk about where Ronaldo fits in Sarri's plans next season.

As the Italian press are reporting, Sarri wants to make Ronaldo into Juventus' 'killer', making it clear that he wants the 34 year-old to lead from the front and be the side's top goalscorer.

Sarri thought it vital to meet Ronaldo and explain to him his role as the leader of the Italian champions, helping to start their relationship off on the right foot and making it clear that he will be the cornerstone of the club whilst the former Chelsea boss is in charge.

During the meeting, the Italian also told Ronaldo that he wants him to play as a centre-forward to make sure he is in and around the box more often, with Sarri setting him a target of scoring more than 40 goals by the end of the season.
