Salzburg are in the semi-finals of the Youth League after beating Lyon and it is largely due to their goalkeeper Daniel Antosch. Florent da Silva had three chances to score a penalty, but the goalkeeper saved all three. The referee had twice ordered a retake after the keeper had come off his line too early.

When your luck is out, it is out. Florent da Silva from Lyon's under 19 team found that out against Red Bull Salzburg in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League.

There was a lot at stake and the Frenchman saw his penalty saved three times. After 10 minutes of the game, Lyon were given a penalty and Da Silva decided to take it.

The Lyon man took and goalkeeper Daniel Antosch dived to his left to save it. However, the referee ordered a retake because the Salzburg goalie had come off his line.

Da Silva had a second chance and he hit in a similar place to the first one, but it was slightly more in the middle. Antosch saved it again, but once again he came off his line early and the penalty had to be taken again

On the third penalty, Florent Da Silva went the other way, but the keeper dived to his right and saved the penalty.

The French side went ahead after half an hour, but then the Austrians went 4-1 up. Lyon fought back to 4-3. but fell just short. If only Da Silva had scored one of his three efforts.
