According to 'Opta', Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has the worst shot conversion rate in Europe's top five leagues, with teammate Karim Benzema not faring much better.

The Portuguese star has scored just once from his 55 attempts on goal in La Liga matches, meaning his shot conversion rate is a mere 1.82%.

That is the lowest percentage of any forward with one goal or more in La Liga, the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.

Benzema, another 'Los Blancos' star who is yet to find his shooting boots this campaign, comes in as the 20th worst forward with a conversion rate of 5.56% (one goal from 18 shots).

Another big name on the list is Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez. He has managed just two goals from 32 attempts on goal, giving him a shot conversion rate of 6.25%.

Real Madrid will be hoping for an improved performance from their attacking duo when they face Apoel Nicosia on Tuesday evening.
