Pep Guardiola is in love with Rodrigo Hernandez and doesn't want him to waste any opportunity that comes his way, in his press-conference before the game against Bournemouth, the coach assured that the midfielder is better than what he was as a player.
There is no better praise for a player than that given by Pep about Rodrigo. The Manchester City coach was a prominent midfielder during his active career, but believes that the new City player has overtaken him.
"Rodrigo is better than what I was. The current means of containment are much more complete than before. In the future, he will become one of the 'top' midfielders," the Catalan coach began.
"He is very intelligent and knows when to play a long ball and when to play a short one. I am sure that he will be an incredible help to our team." He added, before also explaining his personality off the pitch.
And Pep is also very happy with Rodrigo's own way of being: "He has no tattoos, earrings ... and wears his hair like a usual midfielder. He thinks a lot about the rest, pressure, clothes and gives fluency".
