UEFA will most likely announce this Wednesday that the Champions League will be settled with a final in Lisbon. But Ramon Fuentes, for the newspaper 'Sport', reports that the use of VAR is still being discussed.

Questions about how the Champions League will end have swirled in recent weeks, with Lisbon supposedly being chosen as a host city, but there a still questions as to wether the games will follow the normal pattern. Ramón Fuentes informs 'Sport' that UEFA does not know yet how to arrange the VOR rooms, as there are two crossed suppliers.

'Mediapro' has the rights in Portugal, but 'Hawk Eye' is responsible for UEFA. An agreement will have to be reached for the VOR room to be located either in Portugal or in mobile units. This second option is the one that has been touted.

The problem is not choosing between 'Mediapro' and 'Hawk Eye', but there still has to be a consensus on how the video arbitration will work in the final eight that is being organized. The VOR room used for the Portuguese League is quite similar to the one in Las Rozas, which corresponds to the Spanish one.

The last option, apart from using the infrastructure of 'Mediapro' in Portugal or the mobile units of 'Hawk Eye', is to carry out a new temporary installation of a couple of months for the Champions refereeing. After all, it wouldn't be too many games.
