'RAC1' revealed on the programme, 'El Mon', by Jordi Baste, that Robert Moreno made clear to the presenter in a lunch that him parting ways with Luis Enrique is purely for professional reasons. That would rule out the rumours of it being a 'betrayal'.
There was madness at the Spanish Federation HQ with the return of the ex-Barcelona coach as Spain manager. He apparently made clear, that he did not want Robert Moreno to be his assistant, something which reportedly angered Moreno.
Therefore speculation over personal issues began. The latest rumours pointed out that while Luis Enrique's daughter was ill, Robert Moreno did not get in contact with him to ask him how the family were and that had caused their relationship to break down.
But, according to 'RAC1', they have seen each other on a couple of occasions, so the differences between the pair are only footballing and technical ones. Robert Moreno was the number two to Luis Enrique, but that is now in the past.
Once the controversy is over, or that is what Moreno or Enrique hope will happen, Luis Enrique will be able to concentrate 100% on coaching Spain abgain. After having time to get over Xana, he will lead Spain into Euro 2020.
