Porto sign Kelvin Boateng, not Kevin-Prince Boateng
Porto have a top new young playerfor their B team which could go beyond next season. Kelvin Boateng, a 20 year-old attacker, has arrived on loan from Desportivo Aves with a purchase option.
Porto announced that they have reached an agreement to sign Kelvin Boateng. He is not to be confused with Kevin-Prince Boateng. The young 20 year-old attacker leaves Desportivo Aves to join Porto.
That said, Kelvin Boateng will begin in the B team and if he has a good season, he could even break into the first team. He has played 31 games for the Aves B team and scored 12 goals.
The striker also managed to play twice for the first team. He will wear the number 79 shirt and the name K.O.Boateng will be on the back of his shirt.
"There are no words to describe what I feel at the moment. I'm very excited to arrive at Porto and I want to make history here," the footballer said after the deal was done.
Kelvin Boateng moves to Porto for next season and Porto have an option to buy him by 30th June 2021.
