In Ivan Perisic's pre-match press conference for the Wales v Croatia match, the translator stole the show for all the wrong reasons, up until the point that the Croatia media officer had to tell him to stop because he was doing it so badly.
Perisic was left completely surprised about what was happening. The translator didn't seem to be very accurate, and the Croatian realised it.
The Croatia media officer ended up intervening and dismissed the interpreter with the following phrase: "If you din't mind, I'll translate the rest of the press conference because you are missing out some things that Ivan said".
Perisic's final smile betrayed the discomfort of watching someone get dismissed, but the reality is that the interpreter's translation did not match Perisic's original words.
