Everton announced on Sunday the arrival of Arnaut Danjuma, who has joined the Premier League side on loan for the season from La Liga club, Villarreal. This is not the Dutchman's first spell in the English top flight, having spent time at Tottenham as well.
Everton have found themselves a new '10'. Dutch international, Arnaut Danjuma has joined the Toffees on loan for the 2023-24 season, after completing his medical on Saturday.
A priority for Sean Dyche's side, as they had been keen to boost their options up front, with a strict budget to work with. He has joined the Premier League side from Villarreal, and returns to the English top flight after spending the second half of last season with Tottenham.
The 26-year-old made just 12 appearances with the London side, and scored two goals. They chose not to trigger the buy clause on the winger, and his new contract with Everton does not have a buy option.
“It’s amazing to join Everton and I’m really happy to be here,” he told 'EvertonTV'. “It’s been a long time coming to join such a massive club as Everton and it makes me proud".
