Oblak and Savic caught smoking at a party during La Liga matchweek
Images that have emerged on social media of Jan Oblak and Stefan Savic have made a noise in Atletico Madrid. The two appear to be at a party, without wearing a mask and smoking.
Controversy in Atletico Madrid. In one of the club's free days of the week, both Stefan Savic and Jan Oblak have been pictured at a party without a mask on.
The GK and CB of Atletico Madrid appeared on a few Instagram stories of an account that has since been deleted, with the two not appearing to respect any form of social distancing.
The most serious thing to be seen from the video was Savic smoking a cigarette, while the Slovenian GK appeared to smoke a shisha.
These images not only demonstrate a disregard for COVID-19 protocols, but also don't bode well for Simeone's side given that they face Barcelona in La Liga in a week.
At the moment, Atletico Madrid haven't issued a statement. Neither have the two players, although social media was soon alight with what had supposedly happened.
