Leo Messi got quite angry in Seville after an ugly tackle from Diego Carlos. The return to training has allowed for the injury which the Brazilian CB left to be seen and understand why he reacted like that when he doesn't normally do so

One of the realities that Messi has to live with is the unlawful methods that some defenders try to stop him with. However, he has always just got on with it, he has never been one to lose his temper. Now we understand better why.

The ugly challenge from Diego Carlos was enough to get a yellow card and a fight at the edge of the box because the Argentine was going to get his attacker and ask him to explain. The photos that Barcelona shared before and after make it clear that it was more than a caress.

Leo Messi trained on Sunday with an obvious stud wound on his right shin. The challenge from the Sevilla player ripped his socks and was in a place that couldn't be covered by his shin guards.

Despite the incident, the player isn't in danger of missing the Bilbao match. However, one now understands better the heat of the moment, perhaps fearing that if it had been a little higher he could have done quite a bit of damage to his knee
