Nice president plays down Lavezzi talk
The Argentinian left France for China a year ago but has been linked with a Ligue 1 return during the upcoming January transfer window.
Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere has insisted the club are not looking to bring former PSG star Ezequiel Lavezzi back to France from China.
The Argentinian left Paris for Chinese Super League side Hebei Fortune during the last winter transfer window, but reports have arisen recently about a possible return to Ligue 1.
Nice have been the club Lavezzi has been linked to most prominently, but their president has moved to distance the club from that rumour.
"I do not know where it comes from!" Rivere told Telefoot about the link with Lavezzi.
With Mario Balotelli banging in the goals, Nice are right up there with the leaders in Ligue 1 and may feel a couple of new additions January could give them a real chance of the title.
