The attacker Vedat Muriqi has improved. He could not have had a better start to his adventure at Mallorca, the club to which he went on loan in the winter transfer window: he made his debut with a goal.
But as the games went by, Muriqi was disappearing and, above all, being less incisive. That is why Mallorca are no longer considering buying him.
'Kosovan Football', news agency, assures that Mallorca will not keep him. He has the option to buy him from Lazio, the club that owns his rights, but he does not intend to exercise it.
In the contract that both parties signed at the time, Mallorca kept an option to buy Muriqi for 12 million euros. If his signing was initially considered, this option is now practically ruled out.
In any case, there are still eight league games left and Mallorca are confident that he will return to the same level as when he started his loan at Mallorca. Perhaps it is still in his hands to earn his continuity for next season.
