While Kylian Mbappe decides whether to stay at Paris Saint-Germain or join Real Madrid - his mother has confirmed that he has an agreement with both - the Frenchman's presence in the match that will bring his season to an end for the Parisians is a question mark. He could be absent against Metz this Saturday.
However, the club presided over by Nasser Al-Khelaifi has found an escape route to 'force' the Frenchman to take the field at the Parc des Princes, either as a final farewell or a simple 'see you later'. It will depend, of course, on where he ends up next season.
PSG announced on Friday that three players will be honoured at the end of the match. Those chosen were Kylian Mbappe himself, for his Ligue 1 top scorer and assist award, Verrati, for having the most league trophies, and Marquinhos, for being the first captain.
"At the end of the match, a sound, light and pyrotechnics show will light up the Parc des Princes before Paris Saint-Germain and the LFP proceed to the official presentation of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats Hexagoal trophy," the PSG statement said.
