Marcelo put Real Madrid 2-0 up against Viktoria Plzen with a delightful chipped finish.

The Brazilian full back popped up to dink the ball over the Plzen keeper in the 55th minute.

He was played into the box by Gareth Bale, who had earlier smashed an ambitious shot well high and wide of the target.

The deft backheel from the Welshman put Marcelo through on goal, but he still had to beat the advancing Hruska.

However, he showed why he is such an attacking threat, by gently lifting the ball over the keeper as he sprinted out towards him.
