Moroccan national team have announced on Monday that Man United star Noussair Mazraoui has been ruled out of the squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The defender has withdrawn due to injury concerns.

Noussair Mazraoui has withdrawn from the Morocco national team and will, therefore, sit out the two fixtures against Central African Republic on Sunday and Tuesday of the following week, valid for the African World Cup qualification. The player has been ruled out due to injury concerns

The official announcement came from the North African side on Monday. "Coach Mr. Walid Regragui has called up Youssef Belammari to replace Noussair Mazraoui for two matches against Central African Republic," reads the club's statement posted on their socials.

26-year-old Youssef Belammari is set to replace his Moroccan compatriot and will make his return to the national side two years after he made his debut against Jamaica. The defender took part in 77 minutes of the game, providing the assist for Slim. who netted at the 80' to make it 3-0 for Morocco.
