The Polish striker's agent switch has generated a lot of rumours. AFP

Yet another chapter in the Robert Lewandowski saga. According to Polish newspaper 'Przeglad Sportnowy', the Bayern Munich striker could be one step closer to joining Real Madrid thanks to his latest agent appointment.

The newspaper claimed that, between the three candidates hoping to become Lewandowski's new agent, the striker chose Pini Zahavi for his experience and reputation... Zahavi had also already held talks with Real Madrid

As it stands, there is no official link between Lewandowski and Real, but in Poland the rumour mill is starting to heat up. Cutting ties with Cezary Kucharski has been deemed a gesture of intent from the forward.

In the prime of his career (29 years old), Lewandowski, highest goalscorer of all-time for Poland and tenth top scorer in the history of the Bundesliga, has his eyes on a new challenge and Madrid is the team 'Przeglad Sportnowy' are linking him with.

On top of the rumours of the Polish striker packing his bags and heading for Madrid, it's thought 'Los Blancos' will have to make the first move... And fork out a large sum of money. Lewandowski's estimated pricetag is valued by Bayern to be in the vicinity of €150 million.
