According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Uruguayan Diego Laxalt will leave Milan temporarily to join Celtic. It will be a season-long loan.

The name Diego Laxalt is one of the most uttered names in the last few days as the San Siro, as the Uruguayan isn't in Stefano Pioli's plans and Milan are looking for an exit for him.

Manuel Pellegrini's Real Betis recently showed an interest in securing the services of the player on loan, but it seems that the negotiations didn't end up coming to fruition.

For that reason, the Milan side, seven-time champions of Europe, activated an alternative plan and, after a lot of insisting, seem to have found a destination for the player.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Italian journalist specialised in the transfer market, the Uruguayan international will move to the historic Glasgow Celtic.

According to information from Di Marzio, Diego Laxalt has reportedly already accepted the offer from the Scottish side, who will sign him on loan for a season.
