James Rodríguez has had a big impact on the match at Goodison Park. The Colombian scored a lovely goal just before the break to put Everton in front. Then, less than a minute later, Kieran Gibbs hit out at the Colombian and the West Brom man saw red.

WBA were in a strong position in the match at Goodison Park, but things went pear shaped for them just before the interval. James Rodriguez scored to put Everton in front and then Gibbs hit out at him and was deservedly sent off.

It all occurred in a very short space of time just before half-time. Everton, who were losing because of an early goal by Diangana, levelled 15 minutes later through Calvert-Lewin.

James made amends for his error in the 0-1 goal when a bad pass to Andre Gomes led to a WBA counter which Diangana scored from. The Colombian soon overcame that though.

In the 45th minute, he scored a lovely goal from just outside the box which would have sent the Goodison Park crowd crazy had the game not been behind closed doors.
