Mykhailo Mudryk's recent performances sparked the interest of Europe's top teams. The Shakhtar Donetsk winger was interviewed on Vlada Sedan's YouTube channel and spoke about his future: "If there was a choice between being a bench player at Real Madrid or a starter at Arsenal, I would probably choose the Gunners.

Mykhailo Mudryk will be one of the great players of the future. Just as it is happening with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Napoli, so it is for Shakhtar Donetsk's left winger.

The player has grown in recent Champions League matches and managed to attract the attention of European giants. Real Madrid were one of those who shared a group with the Ukrainian side. The team from the Spanish capital is reportedly interested in one of the best players in the Ukrainian league.

Arsenal have also joined the race. Mikel Arteta plans to continue bringing youth into his squad and was interested in Mudryk's current situation. The player, asked which team he would like to go to between the two on Vlada Sedan's YouTube channel, replied: "If there was a choice between being a bench player at Madrid or a starter at Arsenal, I would probably choose the 'Gunners'.

He added: "It's a difficult question and involves many factors in my answer. First I would like to hear from the coach that even if I were not a guaranteed starter, I would get a chance. Essentially, I need to hear directly from the coach what he expects my role to be.

"I am grateful to the Real Madrid fans for giving me this great tribute," he concluded, talking about the standing ovation he received at the Bernabeu.
