How do Sanchez's wages change the top 10 at Old Trafford?

As well as the nearly £15million for the player's agent and a £20million sign-on fee, Manchester United are expected to fork out weekly wages of £350,000 if Alexis Sanchez's move goes through this month.

Manchester City pulled out of the race because the demands from the Chilean's agent, Fernando Felicevich were to much. United, however, are happy to pay out as long as it means beating their arch-rivals to their transfer target.

Earning £367,640 before his knee ligament injury, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's wages last season would have eclipsed those Sanchez could potentially take home, but the Swede has seen his earnings halved since signing a new deal.

Key to the Sanchez deal is Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is level with Nemanja Matic on £140,000. The Armenian has insisted on a pay rise if he is to join the Gunners.

Currently number one at Old Trafford is Paul Pogba, on £260,000 a week, and Jose Mourinho doesn't seem to be worry about squad disharmony once Sanchez tops the list. Here are the 10 highest earners at Old Trafford with the addition of the Chilean.

10. Chris Smalling - £120,000

9. Marouane Fellaini - £120,000

8. Henrikh Mkhitaryan - £140,000

8. Nemanja Matic - £140,000

6. Juan Mata - £145,000

5. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - £150,000

4. David de Gea - £200,000

3. Romelu Lukaku - £220,000

2. Paul Pogba - £260,000

1. Alexis Sanchez - £350,000
