Atletico Madrid captain Gabi recently appeared on Spanish programme 'El Partidazo de COPE' to discuss his side's season, and during the interview he gave his thoughts on Antoine Griezmann's future at the club.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but at the moment everything is pointing to Griezmann making the move from Atletico to Barcelona at the end of the season. The rumour mill is in overdrive, and some reports even state that the forward has already told manager Diego Simeone that he intends to switch to Barca at the end of the season.

However, for Atleti midfielder Gabi it's not all so certain. Speaking with 'El Partidazo de COPE' ahead of his side's Europa League final against Marseille on Wednesday, the club captain said that he believed that the outcome of this final would impact Griezmann's decision.

"I think Griezmann's future depends on what happens on Wednesday," Gabi stated. "What he wants is to win titles. It hurts me when information comes out about Griezmann."

The Spaniard was also asked about who would lift the Europa League trophy if his team win in Lyon, given that it is Fernando Torres' last season at the club. "I haven't thought about who will lift the cup if we win," he responded. "Things should happen naturally."

"It's not easy to get to a final, especially at this stage in my career."
