Galatasaray forward Bafetimbi Gomis collapsed after just seven minutes in Sunday's tie with Kasimpasa. He was judged by medical staff to be fit to carry on.
The French striker was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope in 2009, a condition linked with low blood pressure that sometimes causes him to lose consciousness.
Sunday's episode wasn't the first time Gomis has fainted during a game. In 2015 the forward collapsed against Tottenham whilst playing for Swansea.
This season Gomis has impressed in Turkey, scoring an astounding 20 times in 25 games for Galatasaray.
Although his fainting doesn't affect his ability to play football, it's always worrying to see players collapse during games.
