Bad news in Finnish football. Up to four matches have been cancelled because of COVID-19. They are MYPA-KVP in the second division, Jippo-GBK in the third division and another two female matches.

COVID-19 has reached Finland. Up to four matches have been cancelled, from different tiers and sexes, in the country due to players having the coronavirus.

The clash between MYPA and Kokkola, a Finnish second division match, was supposed to be played on Saturday at 16:00 but had to be cancelled because of a positive in the visiting team.

Kokkola confirmed that they had a positive case in the team, although that person hadn't travelled to Myllykoski. Despite that, the match was cancelled as a precaution.

The match between JIPPO Joensuu and GBK was also postponed, a match which corresponds to group 3 of the Finnish Third Division, as well as two female matches due to contacts with the positive from Kokkola.
