Inter Milan have opened talks with Cesc Fabregas as they look to appoint him as Simone Inzaghi’s successor, with personal terms reportedly agreed between the Spanish coach and the Italian club.

Inter Milan have begun formal talks with Cesc Fabregas to take over as coach from Simone Inzaghi. According to reports from Santi Aouna, the two sides have already reached agreement on the personal terms of the contract, confirming the Italian club's growing interest in the Spanish coach.

Fabregas, who began his coaching career at Como, is looking forward to this career move and is motivated by the opportunity to coach one of the Serie A giants.

According to Sky Italia, the former Arsenal midfielder turned down a bid from Bayer Leverkusen following the departure of Xabi Alonso. Roma also showed interest in Fabregas, but eventually opted to sign Gian Piero Gasperini from Atalanta.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fabregas had a telephone conversation with Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta on Wednesday night to discuss the details of his possible arrival.
