Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling has laughed off the transfer rumours and eye-watering valuation that have recently surrounded him, insisting he's focused on improving with the Saints — even if his teammates won't let him forget the hype.

The 19-year-old midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Bayern Munich.

Southampton have placed a nine-figure valuation on their academy graduate, but Dibling remains grounded, thanks in no small part to the good-natured teasing from those around him.

Among the loudest voices in the dressing room is goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who joined the south coast side earlier this season. According to Dibling, Ramsdale has turned the media buzz into a running joke.

"Rambo's always at it, to be honest," he said. "If I miss a chance in training, he'll shout, 'That's £10m off!' It's always £90m now, or £80m. It's all just banter — none of us takes it seriously."

Despite the speculation linking him with a big-money move in the summer, Dibling is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

"I try not to pay attention to all the noise. I just want to train hard and keep improving," he added. "I've been at Southampton since I was eight years old. I love the club and I want to help us achieve something special."
