Dele Alli expected to return from injury by the end of the month

Dele Alli has already missed two weeks after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem and is sitting out England's forthcoming internationals against Croatia and Spain.

Alli has already missed two weeks after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem, however he reportedly recovering well. 

But the midfielder is intensifying his training plan as he bids to make a swift return.

Tottenham are also closely monitoring the fitness of Danny Rose after the left-back withdrew from the England squad with a groin problem.

Rose joins Alli - as well as Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele - on the Spurs treatment table.

Alli is targeting to return for Tottenham's top of the top clash against Manchester City, however that may come too soon for the 22-year-old. 

Tottenham play Wolves and PSV at the start of November.
