Liverpool drew the game with Fulham and Darwin Nunez was amongst the goalscorers. If anyone had any doubt whether he was a good signing, the former Benfica man showed his worth. Klopp brought him on in the 51st minute and he scored in the 64th.
Klopp's Liverpool did not get off to a good start in their match against Fulham. After 33 minutes, they were trailing because of Mitrovic's goal.
After half-time, the Liverpool boss quickly decided to bring players off the bench. He was not at all happy with what he saw in the first half and he wanted to make changes immediately.
In the 51st minute, Klopp brought on Darwin Nunez and the goalscorer, Liverpool's new signing, did what he does best. In 13 minutes, he had scored his first Premier League goal.
Darwin Nunez shot with his heel. The first effort a few minutes earlier was saved, but this one was not. The ball found the back of the Fulham to make it 1-1 at the time. The game would finish 2-2.
With this goal Darwin Nunez has now scored six times for Liverpool, four of them in pre-season friendlies, another in the Community Shield against Man City and then this goal versus Fulham.
