Carlos Carvalhal's Celta have yet to repeat their starting eleven since the Portuguese coach took over, after eleven games played.

Portuguese Carlos Carvalhal has yet to repeat a line-up in the eleven official matches, eight in La Liga and three in the Copa del Rey, that he has led the Galician side since replacing Eduardo Coudet in the Balaidos dugout.

The Celeste coach has the key players of his team - Mingueza, Unai, Aidoo, Gabri Veiga and Aspas - and then changes some of the pieces to adapt to the opponent's profile.

Carvalhal is in the habit of changing his tactical formation, although in the last two games he has opted for the classic 4-4-2 formation that has been giving him such good results in the games at Balaidos.

He started the game against Betis with the same eleven players who started the second half a week earlier against Athletic, leaving captain Hugo Mallo, one of Coudet's untouchables, on the bench.

In those two matches, nine starters were used again and a total of 15 players were fielded, including Celta's new signing Haris Seferovic.

Ahead of next Sunday's game against Atletico Madrid, Carvalhal is forced to make some changes to his starting eleven after missing one of his regulars, centre-back Unai Nunez.
