The Bulgarian government have taken the decision to open the stadiums to fans from 5th June, but they won't be able to hold more than 30% of their capacity.

The Bulgarian government have announced on Tuesday that 1st and 2nd division football matches, which resume on 5th June, will be able to be played with fans in the stands, as long as they don't surpass 30% of their capacity.

The permission, issued by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, has a condition that there are at least two empty seats between each occupied seat, official sources indicated to 'EFE'.

That order annuls the plan approved on 7th May, which scheduled the league to resume on Friday 5th May, but with empty stands.

The calendar remains as was scheduled, with the end of the competition on 11th July, after 5, and not 10, matchdays to decide promotion and relegation.

The Cup final will remain on 4th July and the Super Cup on the 22nd.

The Bulgarian authorities have been informing for 3 days that the COVID-19 pandemic is in decline in the country, with between 10 and 20 new cases per day.

In total, Bulgaria has confirmed 2538 positive cases and 114 deaths because of the new coronavirus.
