BeSoccer's Premier League Team of the Week - Gameweek 27

Goalkeeper: Matt Ryan

Ryan capped a solid performance with a crucial penalty save in added time, denying a relegation rival and conserving a point for his own team. They could be the points that make the difference come the end of the season.

Defender: Jan Vertonghen

The Belgian's strong form continued as he led the Tottenham defence that nullified Arsenal's attacking unit, and he'll be looking forward to getting his partner Toby Alderweireld back from injury.

Defender: Virgil van Dijk

The Dutchman made his return to his former club and coped admirably in a hostile atmosphere. Southampton's chances were limited and van Dijk showed composure and calmness under pressure.

Defender: Florian Lejeune

Any of the Newcastle defence could have made an appearance in here as they all put 110% in for 90 minutes, but Lejeune nicks it for his goal-saving block from Alexis Sanchez.

Midfield: Eden Hazard

Hazard ended Chelsea's bad run of form with a fine induvidual performance that brought two goals. His is Chelsea's star player, and when he performs like he did against West Brom, one of the best in the world.

Midfield: Kevin de Bruyne

De Bruyne goes from strength to strength and he controlled the midfield with ease against Leicester. Manchester City's first three goals were all provided by him, the first two from sumptuous crosses.

Midfield: Jonjo Shelvey

Shelvey can be a frustrating player but none of that was evident in the win against Manchester United. He was everywhere - from picking up the ball in defence to springing counter attacks with his range of passing. If he can play like this on a more consistent basis Gareth Southgate will have to take notice.

Midfield: Marko Arnautovic

The Austrian has had a superb run since returning from injury and being moved up front by David Moyes, and he scored against against Watford in the 2-0 victory. . He and Javier Hernandez have formed a good understanding and it's certainly paying dividends for the 'Hammers'.

Forward: Steve Mounie

The Huddersfield was very unlucky that he wasn't credited with a second goal in their thrashing of Bournemouth after that statisticians marked it down as a Steve Cook own goal. He also provided the assist for the 'Terriers' first goal and was a menace throughout.

Forward: Sergio Aguero

Aguero showed the full range of his talents, scoring 4 against Leicester and putting him firmly in contention for the Golden Boot. He has scored 20 goals in the league this season while he has had to rotate the strike with Gabriel Jesus.

Forward: Mohammed Salah

Another player in line for the Golden Boot, Salah added to his tally with a cool finish against Southampton. He also assisted Roberto Firmino's opening goal in the 2-0 win at St Mary's.
