We take a look at some of the best performances from this week's action in the Spanish top flight. Do you agree with our selection?

Goalkeeper: Jan Oblak (Atletico)

The Slovenian was once again one of Atletico's best men on the pitch against Real Betis. He kept his side in the game and pulled off a crucial save to deny Christian Tello in the second half.

Defender: Achraf Hakimi (Real Madrid)

The youngster was a constant threat down the right wing and also thwarted Sevilla's attacks at the other end. His goal was the cherry on the cake in his first great afternoon for Real.

Defender: Nacho Fernandez (Real Madrid)

Academy product Nacho was once again one of the best on Zidane's team. Filling in for Sergio Ramos, he opened the scoring and was solid in defence.

Defender: Jordi Alba (Barcelona)

Possibly Barcelona's best player against Villarreal. His second-half raids down the left flank finally paid off as the Catalans clinched a late win.

Midfielder: Ibai Gomez (Alaves)

A crucial win for Alaves against relegation-bound Las Palmas and Gomez was once again at the heart of it all. He worked continuously on and off the ball and scored his team's first.

Midfielder: Saul Niguez

His goal gave Atletico all three points at the Benito Villamarin stadium. As well as finishing like a true centre-forward, he was commanding in midfield throughout the game.

Midfielder: David Timor (Girona)

A set-piece was enough for Girona to come away from Espanyol with a win. Timor was the smartest in the box and then he did splendidly to cancel out both Leo Baptistao and Gerard Moreno.

Midfielder: Chory Castro (Malaga)

Malaga have no room for mistakes this season and a good display from the Uruguayan saw them emerge victorious at Anoeta. He scored Malaga's second to prove he deserves the confidence invested in him lately.

Forward: Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo)

La Liga top scorer Aspas found the back of the net at Mestalla. He always posed a threat in the final third but it was not enough for his team to overcome high-flying Valencia.

Forward: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

The Portuguese striker celebrated his fifth Ballon d'Or triumph with a brace against Sevilla. He looked in-form and sharp once again, something Madrid fans will be thankful for.

Forward: Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

Another day at the office for the Argentine. Not his brightest performance but everything he did struck fear into Villarreal's back line. His link-up play with Jordi Alba was superb and he scored his team's second.
