The young striker was incensed after the Baggies denied him a deadline-day move to Tottenham but is all smiles as he takes advantage of what is understood to be an extended break

Saido Berahino was at the centre of the biggest kerfuffle of transfer deadline day on Tuesday but is it getting to him? Far from it.

After West Brom rejected a third and fourth bid from Tottenham, reportedly including sums roughly equivalent to pocket change and an ice cream as up-front payment, the striker threw a fit on Twitter and seemingly threatened to never again play under Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace.

The club have reportedly given Berahino some extra time off until Monday in order to clear his head as they try to "repair the damage" but, if the England Under-21s international is tearing his hair out over failing to move to Spurs, he's hiding it well.

With his previous, angry tweet still resolutely sitting undeleted in his feed, Berahino has now followed it up with a snap of himself jetting off to parts unknown to enjoy his break.

Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.
