Karim Benzema scored possibly the easiest goal of his career to put Real Madrid ahead against Melilla.

The European champions were under huge pressure in the initial minutes, as a stubborn Melilla side worked hard to frustrate them.

However, the defensive discpline disappeared as Lucas Vazquez was allowed to roam through the middle third of the pitch and play in Odriozola who made a purposeful run on the right flank.

The right-back carried the ball to the by-line, as Karim Benzema made a conscious effort to get in fornt of his marker.

The two combined nicely as the Melilla defenders were nowhere to be seen, giving the Madrid no. 9 a finish that would have been easier to miss given his proximity too the goal.
