Basel's Dimitri Oberlin celebrated his 20th birthday on Wednesday and marked it with a goal. The youngster showed his impressive speed to race clear to put the Swiss champions 2-0 up following a frighteningly quick counter-attack.

Remember the name: Dimitri Oberlin. The young forward celebrated his birthday in fine fashion on Wednesday with a display of his pyhsical prowess as he turned on the afterburners to fly up the pitch in record time.

The goal came from a Benfica corner and when the Swiss side cleared, Oberlin set off on a lung-bursting run before keeping his cool to fire past the onrushing goalkeeper and doouble his side's lead.

The 20-year-old covered the length of the pitch in barely 12 seconds, an impressive feat by anyone's standards.

Not that Basel were done there, they went on to score three more as they ran out shock 5-0 winners in the game, but all the talk post-match was about Oberlin and his potential.
