Barcelona's squad numbers for the 2018/19 season
With the transfer window now shut for another year, Barcelona have taken the opportunity to announce their official squad numbers for the 2018/19 season.
Whilst the Spanish giants never intended on making any deadline day additions, there was the potential for an outgoing on two, hence the wait to announce their squad numbers.
That announcement eventually came on Saturday, with new boys Arthur and Clement Lenglet being handed the number 8 and number 5 shirts respectively.
Those numbers were worn by now departed pair Andres Iniesta and Paulinho last term.
Brazilian winger Malcom takes Javier Mascherano's number 14, with Arturo Vidal inheriting the number 22 from namesake Aleix.
Sergi Samper, Rafinha and Munir, all of whom were expected to leave the club this summer will wear 16,12 and 19 respectively. Thomas Vermaelen has made a slight change from 25 to 24, whilst Coutinho retains the number 7.
