Alfred Schreuder, Ronald Koeman's assistant coach at Barcelona, will be in charge of leading the Catalan side in the next few games. Usually away from the spotlight, the man who was assistant to Julian Nagelsmann will play an important role for Barca in their fight for the La Liga title.

The sending off and consequent two-match ban given to Ronald Koeman means the Dutch manager won't be on the bench for two of Barcelona's most significant matches of the season - Valencia (at the Mestalla) and Atletico.

It will be Alfred Schreuder who will take charge of the Catalan side for these two games, where he will have the chance to demonstrate the good work that has led him to being Julain Nagelsmann's right hand man previously, before Koeman's assistant this current season.

As 'AS' reports, control obsessive Schreuder loves using technology to show players graphics and videos to clean up errors and get the best out of every player.

Usually away from the spotlight, now the 48-year-old will have pressure resting on his shoulders, as Barca need to win these games no matter what to keep up their fight for the La Liga title.
