Gareth Bale's days at Real Madrid could be numbered. Los Blancos are fed up with his constant injury problems and they are already looking for a replacement for him next season.

According to 'AS', there's about to be a huge shake up at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish publication report that the Real Madrid board have made the decision to find another club for Bale. After featuring in just 55% of the minutes played since he arrived in the Spanish capital, the patience has reportedly come to an end.

The club will put the Welshman on the transfer list next summer, with the intention of getting a good price for his sale. After paying 100 million euros to Tottenham for his services, Los Blancos want to recover as much of that money as possible for the man they were hoping would be Cristiano Ronaldo's successor.

And Real Madrid will hope to use that money to sign a new Galáctico. After a number of summers without a huge transfer, the last being the talented Welshman, it looks like Florentino Perez is ready to break the bank to make his next blockbuster signing.

According to the aforementioned source, the number one on the list is none other than Kylian Mbappe. PSG could be forced to part with one of their stars during next summer's transfer window under pressure from 'financial fair play', and the European champions await with open arms.

The French striker supposedly turned down a move to Real Madrid in the summer because he wanted a regular place in Zidane's starting eleven, and now the club would be willing to offer him Bale's spot. With the departure of the Welshman, on top of previous sales of James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata, Mbappe can expect to be a key man at the Santiago Bernabeu.

First, Perez would have to find a willing buyer for Bale. Manchester United made their desire to sign the winger clear last summer, and they could return once again next time around. While two other Premier League clubs have also been linked with a move. The big doubt is how much will they be willing to spend on the 28-year-old. How much have his never-ending injuries affected his value?
