Gareth Bale has become a new Los Angeles FC player after ending his time at Real Madrid. According to initial estimates, the Welshman will be paid 1.5 million euros, which leaves him outside the top 10 highest paid players in MLS. The first is Shaqiri, followed by Chicharito and Higuain.

Few expected this move in the summer transfer window, but Gareth Bale himself announced it in a video that has already gone around the world. The former Real Madrid player has become a new player for Los Angeles FC.

Although there are no official figures, 'Marca' points out that the first estimates suggest that the former 'Merengue' striker would be paid 1.5 million euros, which means that he would not enter the top 10 of the highest paid players in MLS.

At the top of that ranking is Chicago Fire's Xherdan Shaqiri, who earns 6.94 million euros in basic salary which, with bonuses, could rise to 7.75 million euros.

In second place is another former Real Madrid player, Chicharito, who earns 5.71 million euros at Los Angeles Galaxy. The bronze medal goes to Gonzalo Higuain, with a salary of 4.85 million, which can go up to 5.5 million, at Inter Miami.

Completing the top 10 are Alejandro Pozuelo (4th) of Toronto, Jozy Altidore (5th) of the New England Revolution, Josef Martinez (6th) of Atlanta United, Carlos Vela (7th) of Los Angeles FC, Luiz Araujo (8th) of Atlanta United, Lucas Zelarayan (9th) of Columbus Crew and Carles Gil (10th) of the New England Revolution.
