Atletico looking to push through Gameiro-Vietto swap
The Rojiblanco are looking to acquire the services of the French forward, and are willing to offer their Argentinian player as part of the deal.
Atletico Madrid are preparing to swap Luciano Vietto for Sevilla's Kevin Gameiro.
The Champions League finalists' pursuit of Gamerio could be aided by the fact that Sevilla are interested in bringing in Vietto.
The two clubs have reportedly initiated talks for Vietto, who is also wanted by Barcelona and Villarreal, although Atletico are hoping that they can loan him out as opposed to selling him on.
However, should Sevilla be able to offer Diego Simeone's side the €20 million they paid for Argentina international last summer, they may be able to sign him permanently.
Gamerio has also been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, although the deal with Vietto could see him moving to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
