Aguero to the rescue with two goals in as many minutes
Manchester City were trailing at home to Burnley and the prospect of advancing to the FA Cup fourth round seemed to be fading with every passing minute. But cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Sergio Aguero was once again the hero for the Citizens. Burnley were looking to upset the Premier League leaders after Barnes fired them ahead in the first half at the Etihad.
In the second half, the visitors lost focus on a free-kick and Aguero was played into the box. The Argentine did not miss. His finishing was again spot on two minutes later when a sublime back-heel from Gundogan allowed him to go around Pope and bury into the net.
