Amartey potentially out for the season with a serious ankle injury
The 23-year-old got his left ankle stuck in the turf whilst attempting to challenge Michail Antonio and was immediately in some distress, eventually being stretchered from the pitch and taken to hospital.
There are fears that the Ghanaian may have suffered a broken ankle and that his season could be over, though more will become clear on that front in the coming days.
Amartey underwent scans on the injury on Sunday as Leicester look to discover the extent of the injury.
'Foxes' boss claude Puel admitted after the game that things did not look good, saying: "I hope it is not as a serious as we think. He will have to have an examination.
"My first thought at the end is for my player Daniel. He played well and gave his best so it is difficult to see this injury at the end. He will have an exam and we will see after. He has gone to the hospital, of course.
"I thought more about that at the end than the game."
