Alonso urges clarity as Real Madrid arrive in Florida for Club World Cup

Real Madrid have landed in Florida. The team touched down in the early hours of Sunday morning ahead of their Club World Cup debut, set to take place at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium. With the opening match just days away, Alonso finds himself with little time to prepare.
Speaking at Palm Beach airport, the former midfielder addressed the challenge in remarks published by the club: "Everything has to be accelerated because we have very little time to get to know each other and to train.
"Lunin, Vini Jr and Arda arrive today, and we'll begin to build the team. We've got three sessions before the match. We're really excited, eager to have a good tournament and go all the way."
Given the tight schedule, Alonso stressed the need to focus on essentials: "We're starting a new chapter, and we have to prioritise what really matters: who we want to be, how we want to play, and making sure we feel that identity.
"We want to show that from the very first match against Al Hilal. First, we need to recognise ourselves," he continued.
Finally, when asked about his early interactions with the squad, the former Bayer Leverkusen boss was upbeat: "It's been very positive. Bit by bit, I'm getting to know them and beginning to establish those all-important connections."
