The Paraguayan Miguel Almiron started the season on fire. He was one of the best players for Newcastle, but he saw yellow for trying to deceive the referee.

People always try diving in football, but players should think twice about doing it when VAR is in play. 

Players normally dive to try and win a penalty and a very clear opportunity at goal, but it makes no sense when VAR would just take it away anyway. 

In any case, the Paraguayan Miguel Almiron tried his luck for Newcastle against Arsenal. 

Almiron threw himself to the floor, but it was to no avail. He got booked for simulation inside the opening 20 minutes. 

That said, the Newcastle player was the most active player in the first half and he was in practically all the dangerous moves for his team. However, he was unable to score
