With Tottenham in the midst of a losing streak extending three matches, their longest run since 2014, star midfielder Alli's return to training couldn't come at a more important time for Spurs.
Having picked up a hamstring injury on international duty with England the Milton Keynes born star missed the London club's defeats to Watford and Liverpool.
Tottenham travel to Brighton on Saturday in desperate need of a win to prevent them falling behind the other top four contenders in the Premier League.
Fellow midfielder Moussa Sissoko has also been injured and last featured for Spurs in their season opener away at Newccastle.
Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris remained absent from training and looks unlikely to return at the weekend.
It is not yet known whether Alli and Sissoko will be match fit for the trip to the AMEX stadium though.
