Massimiliano Allegri will leave Juventus at the end of the season, the club has confirmed on its website.
The Juve coach will hold a press conference on Saturday at 2pm local time along with the president Andrea Agnelli.
The coach had lost the trust of his men and there was talk of up to five top players leaving the club if Allegri had stayed. Paulo Dybala, Joao Cancelo and Douglas Costa were the most likely to leave. Mario Mandzukic and Miralem Pjanic could also have left if a good offer had come along. Isco, Chiesa and Zaniolo were lined up as possible replacements, but none of this may happen now.

The season has been unsuccessful for the Turin side after winning just one trophy just season which was the Serie A. The Bianconeri were knocked out of the Coppa Italia in the quarter-finals after losing 3-0 at Atalanta, but what hurt most was the Champions League elimination at the hands of Ajax. The team were favourites to progress after a 1-1 draw in Holland, but the Dutch side earned a shock 1-2 victory at the Allianz Stadium to send them tumbling out of Europe.
Allegri joined the Italian club in July 2014. In his five year spell, he won the Serie A title on all five occasions, the Coppa Italia in his first four years as well as the Italian Super Cup in 2015 and 2018. He was unable to win the Champions League though. That said, his team were runners-up in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons after defeats to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
His final home game will be on Sunday against Atalanta before he closes his time at Juve with a trip to Sampdoria the following weekend.
