Juventus play next Tuesday against Ajax in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash. The second leg should be interesting after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.
Cristiano Ronaldo returned after two weeks without competing due to injury problems sustained while playing for Portugal and managed to score the opening goal for Juventus in a thrilling tie against an Ajax team who were still on a high after eliminating Real Madrid.
Allegri wants to have the Portuguese player in his best form and will therefore rest him for Juventus' clash with SPAL as the team continue their fight for yet another 'Scudetto'.
So, Ronaldo will not play and will be rested to return to the starting eleven next Tuesday for the Champions League, so the strikers to face SPAL will be Dybala, Square, Kean, Bernardeschi and Mavididi.
